Web Marketing for SaaS and Software Products

SEO, content strategy, landing pages, and conversion optimization for SaaS products and software companies. We've grown our own products without paid ads — we apply the same approach to yours.

What We Do

Marketing a software product is different from marketing most businesses. Your buyers are technical, skeptical, and actively searching for solutions to specific problems. The marketing that works isn’t brand-building — it’s showing up at the exact moment they’re searching, with content that earns their trust before you ask for anything.

Our web marketing work covers four areas:

SEO and content strategy. We identify the keywords your buyers use when they’re looking for what you build, and we create the content that ranks for them. Not generic blog posts — targeted, authoritative pieces that convert searches into leads. We do this for our own products and have years of data on what works in niche B2B software markets.

Landing pages and conversion optimization. A page that ranks but doesn’t convert is half the job. We design and write landing pages built to convert the specific visitor intent behind each keyword — and we test the assumptions that most landing pages make without evidence.

Technical SEO. Site architecture, internal linking, page speed, structured data, crawl optimization. The foundation that makes content work. Most SaaS sites have fixable technical issues that are quietly suppressing rankings.

Product positioning and messaging. Before any of the above works, you need to be able to say clearly what your product does, who it’s for, and why it’s better than the alternatives. We help sharpen that — and then encode it across your site, landing pages, and content.

How We Grew Our Own Products

The marketing we do for clients is the same approach we use on our own products:

Start with keyword research, not content ideas. We find searches with real volume and achievable difficulty — the specific phrases people type when they have the problem your product solves. Then we build content around those searches, not around what would make a good article.

Target the full funnel, not just awareness. Blog content builds trust and captures top-of-funnel searches. But product landing pages, comparison pages, and integration pages capture buyers who are already close to a decision. Both matter.

Internal linking between the agency site and product sites. Our own portfolio — StatementPro, RecitalDash, SettleBooks, and others — is an asset. Links flow between the agency site and the product sites in both directions, building domain authority for all of them.

Measure what matters. Organic traffic is a vanity metric unless it converts. We track keyword rankings, organic traffic by intent, and the conversion rate from organic sessions to signups, demos, or paid customers.

What’s Included in a Web Marketing Engagement

Month 1 — Audit and strategy

  • Technical SEO audit (crawl issues, site architecture, Core Web Vitals)
  • Keyword research for your product category (200–500 target terms)
  • Competitor content gap analysis
  • Prioritized content calendar for months 2–6

Ongoing — Execution

  • 2–4 pieces of SEO content per month (written by us, not AI-generated slop)
  • Landing page design and copywriting as needed
  • Technical SEO fixes and monitoring
  • Monthly reporting: rankings, traffic, conversions, and what’s next

Positioning and messaging (optional add-on)

  • Customer interview synthesis
  • Positioning framework
  • Site copy rewrite (homepage, pricing, product pages)

Who This Is For

Web marketing with Webward is the right fit for:

  • Early-stage SaaS products that have validated demand and need to start building organic traffic before they scale paid
  • Bootstrapped or capital-efficient founders who want marketing that compounds over time rather than marketing that stops the moment you stop paying for ads
  • Software products in niche B2B markets — the specific kind of buyer we know how to reach

It’s not the right fit for consumer apps, e-commerce, or products that need mass awareness campaigns. We’re good at the focused, intent-driven search traffic that drives SaaS growth — that’s the lane we stay in.

Pricing

Web marketing engagements are retainer-based:

  • SEO and content (execution only): from $3,500/month
  • Full web marketing (strategy + execution + CRO): from $5,500/month
  • Positioning and messaging sprint (one-time): $4,000–$8,000

Engagements run month-to-month after the first three months. We don’t do long lock-in contracts because we’d rather earn the renewal.

Let’s talk about your product. A fifteen-minute call is enough to know whether organic search is the right channel for your stage, and what kind of traffic it can realistically deliver.
